**Raku course for everyone. **
Come on the raku pottery course in Jeksen's old school hall, get your hands on the clay and let the creations begin. The school room contains all our own creations, so there is ample opportunity to get inspired, some call it a “live Pinterest”
The course takes place over 2 sessions, so please note the changing time for both days.
1. Meeting. 10.00-14.00
The first time we meet we shape in clay, eat cake and have fun.
We do not spin or make sheet engineering — it is pure shaping (of course you are welcome to work with these techniques if you are familiar with them)
You will be guided along the way as I am always ready to help you get the desired result.
Otherwise, the day passes by having fun and getting conjured up a lot of exciting ceramics.
2. Meeting room 9.00-15.00
When you come the 2nd time, all your blanks are too glowed and are therefore ready for glaze.
You will be given guidance on the different glazes we work with.
While we glaze our blanks, we enjoy a delicious lunch.
We raku continually burn your stuff along the way as the day goes on.
When we finish raku firewood and the pottery is scrubbed clean, it's ready to come home with you.
No experience is required to participate in the course.
